Titel: Christmas lists!
Beitrag von: AngelOfMusic am Oktober 13, 2005, 07:32:34 Vormittag
So I decided that in order to get the music I want for Christmas this year, the best way to do so was to make a visual list of the albums I wanted.  So I found pictures of all the albums I want for Christmas, pasted them into MS word along with the band name and name of the album and gave it to my dad.  Mom refuses to go online to buy stuff, but my dad does not.  Visuals help.  So yay, I might be getting metal for Christmas.

Just thought I'd post, as it's been pretty quite around here as of late.

I almost hate this time of the year. I have my birthday and then it's christmas time coming up too. Everyone wants to know what I want, and well.. I don't. Besides metal and Pratchett. Well, if I name some band/album. "How do you spell that?" "Where can you buy it" etc. etc... Perhaps I should try making a visual list too :) Perhaps I would get some metal this time :)

What about setting up a wishlist at Amazon? I have one for myself - and so far I mostly use it for myself to remember what I wanted to have, if I should find money to go shopping at Amazon once upon a time again. ;)

Then send everybody asking on this way to Amazon: http://bleeding.bleeding4metal.de/index_en.php?show=support (because that way they will support the existence of B4M and the boards by buying something from Amazon). :D

This will realise a wishlist with visuals and at the same time show where to get the stuff. Cool, isn't it?

The problem wth Amazon is that every time I've looked for CDs there, they've cost around $20-$25, when the norm is $15 at Best Buy or Sam Goody (at my local mall) for the same CD (Yes, I comparison shop. :D)

So I just told my dad "Use eBay, or ask for Best Buy or Sam Goody to special order them."

Okay, that's a noteworthy difference there...

And I don't buy anything from the web ;) Besides the prices aren't that low in most of the cases..:) I'll rather suport our little finnish metalshops( erhm...) or something :)

Honestly, I can't think about Christmas until atleast after my birthday.
