Hey Falconites,
let's gather all the information and dating etc. about meeting and feasting at the Wacken Open Air 2007 in this thread.
For my part, I will be camping in the press area (sorry... ;) ), but I'd love to catch up with all of you at times! Furthermore I created a picture gallery at http://gallery.bleeding4metal.de (http://gallery.bleeding4metal.de/thumbnails.php?album=45 (http://gallery.bleeding4metal.de/thumbnails.php?album=45)), where everybody can upload his or her pictures afterwards (please register to be allowed to upload).

As for me, I don't know yet where I stay.
But I suggest to post cellular numbers to find each other in Wacken.

Though I probably don't count as a real Falconite (at least not yet ;)), I'm gonna be there anyway ;) It was decided already years ago, that when I graduate, I'm gonna go to Wacken, and now the magical year of 2007 has finally come... :bangersmiley:

I have never been to Wacken before so I do not know any good places to camp. Do we have any experienced Wackeners here? I believe if we really want to found an awesome Falconites Camp, we should organize in such a way that we all settle our tents at pretty much the same spot. Anybody got some useful intel on that? I mean it's really a once in a lifetime opportunity to be having this sort of event, meeting all the other international fans, partying with the band of course, I think we should plan this really thoroughly so that it's not like 20 people walking around Wacken like "yeah where are you? oh there, well I dunno if me and my people will get there, maybe see you at the gig" or "oh thats where you are, cool, well maybe I will check on you but me and my folks have other plans right now..." know what I mean? I think we should really try to manage to find a spot where we can party together!
Okay that's my 2 cents for the Camp Campaign. Now let's talk about the aftershow party. I guess this kind of goes out to Stefan. Is there any way you can confirm already that this is really going to happen? I watched Wacken 06 today and there they said that Children of Bodom organized it so that they could go to their fan's camp. So I guess it isn't anything impossible. Would be too sad if for some lame reasons this couldn't happen.
Well what are your thoughts? So looking forward to partying with you guys!

I totally agree with Falcon-headed!
It would perfect to gather alltogether and make a Falconite camp.
As for afterparty, we should think out how to make it better. Of course, we need to wait for Stephen's anf other guys' agreement whether it is ok from their side.
I suggest to rent a pub or something like that for afterparty. It's probably hard to make blindly right now because lack of information.

All I can say about camping together is: You can "order" a group camp area to be reserved, if you have at least 150 persons confirmed to take part...
Otherwise you will be placed just where there is space when you arrive. So the only possibility I see is meeting before entering the campgrounds and going there all together then. But that will be very hard, I guess... Reserving camp ground on your own, i.e. by setting up fences or something, is not allowed, I think, but you can try it anyway. ;)

Regarding the meeting:
First of all we need to get a time to play.
Then we´ll have to wait and see if there´s gonna be a signing session afterwards like in 2002.
I think there were like a couple of hours between those two, but I guess the signing could happen any time on the gig day.
I´ll post any info about these things here as soon as I get them.

This sounds like a great idea guys, and I really hope it works. An afterparty would be even better. I am doing everything I can to get the plain tickets to Germany, but they are very expensive and I am still in school :suicidal_smiley:. So if I cant make it, I hope the rest of you have fun.

I remember, that falconer appears on 3rd of August, don't remember the time exactly.

I can correct the number of people needed to book an area: 50. Still... :)

I think booking an area would definitely be the smartest thing to do if we want to make the Camp a success. But I guess that means, all 50 people would have to arrive together? That might prove difficult to orchestrate.
Still, I assume that each of us will be coming with some friends? If we put all those together, 50 people might be a number we can achieve. I for one will definitely arrive with several people, don't know yet how many exactly. What do you guys think?

I'm really sorry, but the number i quoted in the beginning has reappeared - just like last year, that's why I had that number in my mind:
Because of the immense reactions we´re sad to announce that in matter of organisational reasons the groups have to have a minimum size of 150 persons.
You should send your reservations fast because there´s only a fixed space and if it´s full we can´t get hold of more reservations.

Well in that case, I think we can all agree that reserving an area is not an option.
So, if we really want to do this, we need to avoid that everybody settles someplace different and everyone is scattered across the camping area. What we need to do is meet up before the festival and find a place to camp together. The result being the Falconites Camp that this thread is about ;D
So I guess this means we would all have to arrive on July 31st, meet up and set up the camp. Am I right?

Hey guys! Only some days until Wacken. any ideas?!
I will be at the place on July 31st. The plane will arrive to Berlin, then we go to Hamburg and from there to Wacken. Where could we meet?

I will arrive at Wacken on Wednesday, Aug 1st.
I will have to see if I can convince my two buddies to join me at Falconites camp... but I do think they should prefer that to sitting around just by ourselves. ;D
When will everybody else arrive? I can`t be the only one who comes on Wednesday?
Perhaps anyone who comes on Tuesday can put down their tents temporarily Tuesday and meet up with the "late" people the next day, so that we can set up the camp together in one place. Otherwise, I can`t see how we will accomplish the camp project or party together.
Oh and like Sol said: Where could we meet *before* setting up that camp?

I've been in contact with Prab, and he asked me to inform you all that unfortunately due to personal reasons he won't be able to come to Wacken this year :( :(
We'll arrive on Thursday, and won't be enjoying the camping... so anyone smart enough to say "get a room" to us during woa... well, we already have one ;)
But who's actually coming? I'm a bit confused on that, I have to say ;) Just Sol, Horus and Odin? And me and Nightmarespirit of course. But that's a fact no one in the whole world could have missed during the last few months;)

Well, I could try to cover a place for you but I'm not sure abut it. Friends of mine visit Wacken every year and say that already on Monday more than half of camping area will be covered. But let's try, it is not a problem.
But very hot question for all of us: How Will We Meet?

I guess now is the time to really come up with something... is there not some place there that's regonizable enough for all of us (as we seem to be so many) to find? I've never been there, but could anyone suggest anything? :P I'm kinda out of ideas as I have no idea of the area... except that it's large :)

There is an official "meeting point" in the entrance area, I think.
A good idea might also be the container, where you change your ticket for the wristlet...? But not so good for me, because I am entering from the very opposite end... ;)

If you overlook the whole logistic problems in Wacken this year it was just great. It was the first time i have seen Falconer live and it was awesome. Thanks a lot again for the great gig and the nice Meet and Greet. Thanks also to Freddy (hoffe ich habe deinen Namen richtig geschrieben), Sol and her friend for the nice Company

Well I'm back home now as well, finally had a couple of hours of decent sleep, a shower, and all those little luxuries of civilization that you only really know to treasure after a festival ^^
What can I say? Friday was definitely t h e day of the year for me. Greetings to Captain Charisma and Sol and her husband, it was a real pleasure meeting you, hopefully not for the last time! :icon_biggrin:
Falconer's show was nothing short of brilliant. They played almost every song I had hoped to hear, the sound was great and Mathias simply blew me away - a whole different experience than with Kriss. Veeery satisfying. I understand there was an online stream of the gig - if anybody recorded that, I absolutely need to have that!
Many, many thanks to Falconer for meeting up with the massive amounts of loyal fans and forum members ( :icon_mrgreen:) at the metal market. Even though they were probably rather exhausted - especially Mathias in that regard - they took time for a lengthy meet & greet, Q & A and opportunities for being photographed with them - this is the kind of stuff that lets you know a band cares for their fans. So, Stefan, Mathias, Jimmy, Karsten, Magnus - a million thanks for your time, you really made our Wacken! :icon_cool:

Aaah... Back home from a fantastic trip to Wacken with some unforgettable moments in the baggage. Wonderful people everywhere.

So, I tried to be the first and made it last - great... ;)
This is what I wrote few minutes after the gig already, tried to post here, but due to the over-populated cellular network I had no chance to do so - got the online connection, but well - air is a shared medium, so no way to get decent access to the boards. :(
The FALCONER show was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! The crowd was massive, we were singing along almost louder than the band played! The sound was very good, all five obviously enjoyed themselves and the gig - and were impressed by the crowd (and right so). We hat lots and lots of crowdsurfers and even a moshpit during the last song. What was it? Oh, behold this setlist (as far as I got it)!
