In order to get some more fun discussion going here, I think I'll pose this question to all of you:
What are you going to dress up as for Halloween?
I'm going to be the heavy metal faerie. I'm going to wear black jeans, bitch-boots, and a band t-shirt (probably Therion). One of my friends is letting me borrow her black-feathered wings, and I bought a cheap wand that I'm going to spray paint black. I also am going to wear a studded leather belt, and studded wrist bands. Et voila! The Heavy Metal Faerie!
I came up with this idea simply because I'm lazy. I was trying to decide what I could be without spending much money or putting much effort into my costume. I first thought "I could go in jeans and band t-shirt and go as a metalhead, but then, I always look like that. I did goth thing last year...maybe I could be a faerie..." and from there I thought "The heavy metal faerie!!!" So there you have it. I'm lazy, and I came up with an interesting costume idea (at least I think so!) And yes, there will be pictures! :)

Halloween... Hmm. It's getting bigger here, more peopel are celebrating it, and I guess I will have an invitation to some of party. (Knowing a lot of goths...;))
But what to wear? That is a never-ending guestion... :)

It's a bit earlier than actual Halloween, but it's said to be one of the biggest Halloween festivals in Europe.
There'll be almost everything.
Gothic/Metal/Medieval Shops, many floors with different styles of music from metal to dark wave over gothic to rock.
Many DJs, some of them being members of famous groups. (I think the singer of Finntroll will be there too)
There'll be fetish gogo dancers, DJ battles, Open Air Areas, even a Depeche Mode Special on the new album they release, a free breakfast since the doors won't close until 6AM or later.
All in all it's gonna have a lot of variety and intersting stuff.
Oh, how am I gonna dress up?
Well, I don't know.
Some black clothes, maybe a band shirt, black fingernails, and a lot of good mood :)

yay, that halloween party (http://www.from666hell.com/) is only three hours away.
still, one thing sucks bad right now...
my computer has some major troubles it seems! (I'm writing this from my old one)
it won't boot, seems like somethings wrong with my harddisc!
f**k, i hope so much that the data is NOT lost....! i don't have a backup of all that stuff!
all pictures taken by me in 2005.... all those concert pics.... the music... my lyrics... and lots and lots of other stuff!
man, i hope that the guys at the computer store can do something, i still have a guarantee!

I'm really thankful that this "door-to-door-begging" did not occur that much this year here with us. I know some groups of kids were walking around, but they were either very picky about the houses they visited or for some other reason avoided quite a number of houses.
I'm glad to see at least that part of imported culture dying down so quickly again. I can't share any part of the Halloween-fascination that is spreading here in Germany, but that "trick-or-treat"-part was the worst of all.
I guess the only winner is the retail industry, because they've had one of the better times this year due to this day.

I kinda like Halloween (though it's not actually celebrated so largely over here). Not the kid part though(Gladly I've never seen any kids on halloween). But they are selling all these cute wanna-be-gothic kinda things over here, and those little evil pumpkins... But yes, the adult way of partying Halloween is way more attempting than getting annoyed by children.
This time I didn't get to go to any halloween party, cause I was in Sweden for the last five days. And I still don't like dressing up :)
BUT great costume Cecilia and nice outfits Metal couple. :)
(Going to Sweden seriously reduces your brain cells...I'm a living proove ;) )

Well actually not much, you know...
I just don't paint my nails black usually. Only sometimes.
And I used this black pencil kinda think for my eyelids for the first time.
It's not that visible though.
As I said, you shouldn't expect a Rocky Horror Picture Show or something :P

Heh, just kidding. The facial hair looks more neat and trim than usual, to me. Good pics, though. And who's the girl with the blood all over her chin and neck? I wouldn't be able to walk around like that for very long!

Are you using Internet Explorer? That's what shows up with IE. That happens for me at work when I have to use it....I always thought they were just blocking bloggs!
BTW this was supposed to be posted in "What are you listening to" thread but somehow it got put here. Too much holiday cheer I guess! LOL

Yeah, I'm using Explorer. I don't know why it's like that. I can read everyone else's blog (of those who post blogs, anyway)

I reset the default settings and voila! I think its readable now, boring, plain and ordinary but now it can be read.. oh well if I have some time one of these days I'll play around with it. Thanks for the "heads up" AoM and Odin. :)
