Titel: favorite things of falconer?

what things stand out in falconer, make them unique to listen to?

one thing i have deffinatly noticed has been bridges, into/out of verses and chorus, into solos, ending solos, and even the start and end of song they do a great job with those i think.

another is vocal delivry, the "waves" as i call them they use (old and new singer alike).

another is how the guitars do things different alot, but fit so perfectly together.

of course, the drum beats are always awesome...he always find things to throw in or change to give it that extra edge.

Well, for their first two albums for me it was Matthias' voice.

Also, I like the folkish feel to Falconer's music.  Stefan's just damned adept at it.

For the last two albums, I'd say the same, but exchange Matthias' voice with Kristoffer's voice.  Both singers have a unique voice.  And Kris, I especially love it when you sing classically.  Beautiful!  :)

1. The voice. Mathias was just divine in that respect, but when singing clear - and they better do that some more on the next album - Kriss basically gets the job done just as well. Almost. Not entirely, but it works out fine. And that's one hell of a compliment when you're replacing a golden throat like Mathias'.

2. The guitar riffs. Stefan has a really unique style of shooting out those killer riffs that put together:

3. The epic arrangements. Epic, powerful hymns are what made Falconer great and they better do that some more on the next album!

4. The lyrics. These guys ... namely Stefan, have the rare talent to write grand, powerful stuff without sounding like standard clichée power metal. They manage to give us new, mindblowing medieval stuff that sounds majestic, not ridiculous. And they better do that some more on the next album.

I think you are all getting where I'm going with this  8)
