Hi all!
A few of you already know that I'm moving to a different flat next Saturday. The packing has already begun and this PC will be packed tomorrow.
So, I'll be offline till at least Sunday or later if the Deutsche Telekom messes up my DSL supply in the new flat.
Take care and cross fingers that all goes well for us.

I know what you mean about the modem line.....I moved not too long ago and had to wait for DSL service to get connected. I can't believe how dependent I am on it! And not for the fun stuff like this forum but for real life stuff like my bill paying for example. All my bills come to me on line and I haven't made out a check or mailed a paymet in years! I felt sooo lost :lol:

Hey Tex, there are reasons to envy you still; the dimensions of your new flat. ;)
And I wouldn't dare hoping for T-Com to get it right soon. I would have switched to Arcor at this opportunity (like I did when we moved :) ).
Hope you made it over in good shape and report back here asap.

Oh, here's the thread I was looking for! :)
Tex sent me a short message via mobile telling that the telecom has indeed messed it up once again! Oh my goodness. They won't have telephone and internet before this friday. But they are well over in the new flat.

My DSL line got connected just this minute.
I'm back!
Now I simply need to wade through the thousands of emails I got in the 10 days without connection...

Not on the move, but right afterwards. My girlfriend decided that we need more furniture so we went to Ikea and bought some:
6 chairs
1 table
1 sideboard
1 cupboard
plus the usual small debris that end up during such a shopping trip. Guess who had the honour to assemble the stuff...
