Strangely these news don't appear on the official website yet. Usually the band homepage was the main source for news.

Sounds good, the titles are pretty cool so far.
A bit scary to read about the whole orchestra / classical / choirs part. Hopefully it won't be overdone. :?

I don't think it will be. I'm guessing it'll just be more strings in place of (or complimenting) the keyboards.
All in all, some very good news. :) Loving the song titles.

I like the title "Northwind". Not too original, but I feel like it conveys very well what this album is all about - the return of the old/true Falconer music, and that means that there is a fresh wind blowing - right? :wink:
I am very confident that they will not overdo the choir/orchestral stuff. On the contrary, I think if they use it at a reasonable rate, it might help in addition to the powerful guitar, drum and voicework of the first CDs to make this an excellent, if not the best Falconer album ever.
Well, GvG was somewhat disappointing because it was a good metal album but a rather sorry excuse for a Falconer album. Still, I believe that with "Northwind" coming this way, the guys can bring back the power of the Falcon.

The news about Kriss being fired was first on the official homepage and later on on blabbermouth, wasn't it?

I don't recall who had it first, but no matter how, it was rather late.

Well, the meaning was not to make it official that fast after the decision but hey, you donīt rule over everything.
About the new news: I sent the update to alot of people including our webmaster.
Iīm sure he will update the page eventually.

Still, I can't wait for this album!!! *squees and wiggles* I love orchestra combined with metal, so I'm especially looking forward to this album. Not to mention Matthias is back!!! *fangirl squeal of glee goes here* There are so many albums by bands I love being released this year that I'm pretty sure I might explode from awesome overload. :D

About the orchestration: donīt take that too serious, thereīll be some classical instruments added to the keyboard orchestrations.
Thereīs no way we can afford an authentic full orchestra.

One of these days I will change the background to something more interesting. I was just trying to stay with the GvG color scheme...Perhaps once the new album is out I'll change the color scheme and background to match with the new album. :)
