The original song is called "the islander", it's by nightwish. A great song, sung by Marco Hietala (bass). Awesome voice of that guy! Well, I fooled around a bit with a instrumental version of that song. I sung and recorded the vocals myself :P Everything's homemade, I used a cheap but handy computer headset as a micro, no effects on the voice, some wrong tunes and harmonies :P Well, just check it out...

Virva: Most of us can't afford to travel like that, just for metal karaoke. ;)
One year ProgPower had metal karaoke. It was awesome. This year they're doing live band karaoke via a Queensryche cover band. XD

YOu don't sound like AH-nuhld, as far as I can tell from the song. Your r's are just slightly more pronounced. Usually when people sing, the accent goes away for some reason. Unless you're Fabio Lionne.
