you dont know what happend to me...well i mean in tailand...
did you hear what happend in tailand? with the wave that distroyed so many people and stuff over their?
well, i've got a friend, a best friend, that went to tailand before 2 months and he was in the hotel with his girl friend. and when the wave hit the hotel he dissapear and she got hurt
and now the police and the ambulances and everybody that looking for survivers and all the people that cant make it their (im sorry if my english now bad, im exited ... in the bad way.) cant find him...
he is missing.. im so worried
i've been crying for 3 days sence i hear about it
he like a family to me..
im worried and im dipressed (im down) and i dont know what to do...
if i could, i would go to tailand and looki for him.

Im sorry for your friend and your loss.. I hope that they are able to find him whether t be for the better or the worse case... and I will pray for him and for your own behalf for safety and strength....
and I guess i misse this but what in the heck happened over there??? inever get around to watching tv any more..

I heard about the Earthquake Tsunamis not long after it happened. That's alot of lives lost. :(

Merv this is very sad news about your friend.
.......and for the whole terrible tradgedy in South Asia. It is hard to comprehend the numbers of the lost..........We are reminded as we reflect on family and friends at this time of year, the fragility of life and lest we forget the awesome power of the forces of nature.....

this friend of mine that they cant find (sharon heliel) is like a brother to me....
i have no family in here... well i do actualy, they not dead or something...
but i didnt talk with them for long LOng time...
so all my friends (well some of them) are like a family to me.....
im sick of crying every night.. and in the morning...
i dont know what to do.. im going crazy in here...
if only i could.. i would like to go to tailand and search for him....

I suppose, as the number of victims grows, chances are quite high more of us will have to claim a loss :(
I know of at least 2 (more or less) famous people who are considered to be "missing": Martial arts actor Jet Li, who spent his holidays with his family, and Mieszko Talarczyk, vocalist of swedish grindcore band NASUM, who spent his holidays with his girlfriend.

They're already saying here in Finland, that the once not yet found, are probably dead. Such a tragedy...

well I haev now lost a friend of mine too in all of this.. actually an old internet GF kinda i gues syou can say.. it hurts to know that such things you hear about and think to your self "thank God that I dont have to worry about things like this happening to myself or any of my friends... then to hear that i have lost a friend and that one more are missing is very hurtful... i have had tears all day due to this because i do not know what is going on or even if the will ever find the other friend..
as you all know I run chat rooms on the irc network and have alot of friends there.. well two are from thailand... Amita was found dead in what was left of a family members home and the others whare abouts is still unknown.... several other friends i have lost contact with but after calling other friends of mine around the world i ahve found that they are all ok or werent even bothered by the tidle wave that hit there country...
so I now can say I know what it is like to have some sort of connection to such a tragedy as i sit here with a empty heart because of loss... Merv i pray to God and hope that they find your friend Sharon alive... and to any one else out there who has friends dead or missing because of this I am sorry for you as well..... God Bless.......

my friend is dead. they found his body on thursday (?)
today i went to the funeral. so many people...
but the wierdest thing that i didnt cry... maybe its 'cos im still in big shock....

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: NASUM VOCALIST MIESZKO TALARCZYK MISSING IN THAILAND
It's very hard for us to make this announcement, but since rumours are already out on the Internet we must make an official statement: Mieszko Talarczyk is missing in Thailand.
Mieszko and his girlfriend went to Thailand to spend the holidays. They left a few days before Christmas and were scheduled to return right after New Years Eve.
They were staying in a bungalow at Phi Phi Island and when the big wave came and swept the bungalow away the two were seperated. Mieszko's girlfriend is being reported hospitalized "badly injured" but she has been in contact with among others Mieszko's sister who has been posting an "I'm looking for..." at the Phuket Disaster Forum.
This is everything we know right now. Since we are all shocked by this surreal situation we strongly advice fans of Nasum to respect the anxiety we and the Talarczyk and Thorén families feel at this time, and NOT post questions by email or in the guestbook at nasum.com. We will post all sorts of news on the website, but again, please respect our wish in this uneasy time.
