On the 29:th of November I´ll take my sledge and try to plow myself through the snow storms down to the studio. Maybe I should sacrifice to the weather gods tonight.........
Anyway, I´m feeling excited to return to the studio for some recording during the days and horror and war movies during the nights with the company of a bottle BLOSSA!

FALCONER: New Album Release Date Announced - Feb. 1, 2011
Swedish metallers FALCONER will release their seventh album, "Armod", in Europe on June 3 via Metal Blade Records. The CD features 11 songs completely sung in Swedish and four bonus tracks that are said to be English versions of the bandmembers' favorite new songs.
"Armod" was once again recorded at KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque's Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden during December and January. FALCONER states, "The recording and mixing process went smoother than ever before.
"The album is embracing the Swedish folk music to a greater extent than before making it sound slightly more down to earth.
"The music spans from acoustic songs with cello, flute and fiddle to songs with blast beats and really heavy riffing.
"As said before this is a 'one-time-only' album and does not define the future sound of FALCONER, but it was about time to pay full notice to the infuence that has always made us different. Now we have that out of our system!"
Songtitles set to appear on "Armod" include "O, Tysta Ensamhet", "Svarta Änkan", "Dimmornas Drottning" and "Herr Peder Och Hans Syster".

The revealed song titles mean, in order, "Oh, Silent Solitude", "The Black Widow", "The Queen of Mists" and "Lord (probably, we'll have to see the context) Peder and his Sister".
Someone has probably written this before, but "armod" is an old swedish word for "poverty". I will probably use "destitution" in my lyrical translations.

This will be nice to hear. I'm curious. I don't really care wether it's in Swedish or English as I understand both languages. Also, the Swedish songs have sounded good in the past.

According to my latest contact with the US office there will be a release for you guys too, I doubt it will contain the 4 english bonus versions though. If it's suitable or any market it is the US!

The album all in Swedish is going to have ENGLISH bonus tracks? *doubles over, laughing* I LOVE YOU GUYS!
Naturally, I will need to have this version, if the US copies do not have the bonus tracks. So I guess I'll just shell out the extra cash for an import when the time comes.
