Guys, I smell a serious alcohol problem in here...
Would you want me to open up a new forum called "bleeding alcoholics" or something?

We don't have an alcohol problem. This stuff is so expensive that you cannot develop a problem with it.

Apart from that, I only drink whisky for the taste and not to numb my senses.

Greetz,

Tex

Glenwhat? :)

I once tried some strong stuff which was called "Glenfiddich" or something. Damn, that was strong!
Since I'm more of a beer and cocktail drinker, I'm not really used to stronger (nobler?) stuff :)

But keep wine away from me! Too much of that and I'm "another person".  :(    :)

For most Russians it's true, but for me and my friends the most assotiations are about celts? red hairs and green eyes... And, of course, your national musical stuff, I don't know what it is in english. It looks like a bag with pipes (I'm so ashamed  ) I've read about your country in English lessons... Yhat is all I know:)))

Yea, bagpipes!

Can sound quite majestic when used properly (or a total dirge at other times) - any chance of a bagpipe section on the new album, Stefan?

Re the red hair thing - we don't all look like Groundskeeper Willie, but apparently we all sound just like him, according to some people we met in Sweden.

Albums with bagpipes: Check out GRAVE DIGGER's "Tunes Of War"!  :P

About football (soccer): I remember a match between Scotland and Germany during which two German players had to be taped and fixed into one piece again after they had their heads crushed in some collisions. Very bloody game. ;)

Groundskeeper Willie is the ginger-haired Scottish guy in The Simpsons, if you get that in Russia.

Bagpipes are used for formal things, and the national anthem gets played on them. Marching bands also use them. Everyday folks in Scotland tend not listen to them. Download Flower Of Scotland if you can, it's our national anthem - you might end up with some acoustic folk version, but keep trying - you'll know the sound of a bagpipe when you hear it.  Other than that, you can just type "Scottish music" or something to that effect into soulseek or something like and see what you find.

Kilts are only worn for stuff like weddings but we wear them for football games sometimes. :D

On the subject of which, I know Russia lost 7-1 to Portugal, but, man, we just drew with MOLDOVA. Ask the German memebers about our manager....
