Pre-Ordering GRIME vs. GRANDEUR?
« am: März 31, 2005, 10:25:58 Vormittag »
Okay, here is what I found:

I wanted to preorder the new Falconer album. I guess that's not too strange considering the album's release is just one month away.

So I checked amazon.at couse I've bought all my Falconer CDs there. Fine.
I type in "Falconer" let the search engine get the results but then.... nothing.
No mention of GRIME vs. GRANDEUR.
Oh, wait, there is a second page of results.
What the.... the LAST entry was this:

http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007ZSHU8/qid=1112257599/sr=1-14/ref=sr_1_0_14/028-8434854-0147738

What does it mean "Not available ANYMORE"?!
The release date stated there is the 3rd of May!!

*sighs*
So no way of preordering through Amazon.
At least not at this point.
Let's wait a few weeks.

*wants to have that album right when it comes out*

Uhm I went on amazon.DE and there it says "not available /(anymore)", meaning it is not YET available, with the May 3rd date clearly announcing when it WILL be available. I assume the german and austrian amazon have essentially the same standard phrases, since both are in german.
Hope this helps you out.

Actually there is no "amazon.at". It's only the URL, but it's linked to "amazon.DE".
If you look at the link in my first post, you'll see that it's ".de" :)

Don't you have any stores where you live?
Come release date I will just enter a CD shop, grab the CD, pay for it and head home.

No need to make it harder than necessary, right?

1.  Generally pre-orders ARRIVE in your mailbox ON the release date.  :)

2. I get free shipping at Amazon and CD Universe.  :)  which brings me to #3

3. I  save on gas.  (Its gone up so much recently we are practically paying European prices)

4. It is my understanding that some of the sales  through the link here at Bleeding can support the site. :D

And last but not least.....

5. A store HERE that actually stocks HAMMERFALL or FALCONER??????? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!  You must be kidding!
