New album from the legendary Tarja

hey so did anyone hear about Tarja's new album "My Winter Storm" umg? Well I got a chance to hear some of the songs from her new album and a lot of the songs sounded really good on it. heres a link a found with some of the songs from the album check it out,http://www.myspace.com/tarjaturunen/ what do you guys think>? I think she can definitely survive as a solo artist.

I've only heard the song "I Walk Alone" but I liked it.  I'm looking forward to purchasing the new album.  I've heard good things about it.

And just a heads-up:  This is NOT a metal album.  Some people at a certain metal forum for a certain US festival seemed stupidly suprised that it's not a metal album.


However, it DOES have the bassist from Living Color on it. :D

Now, I seriously dislike Tarja's album. Don't get me wrong, loved her on Nightwish but... It doesn't feel right, there seems to be absolutely no feelings involved with the songs, and all of it seems a bit, I dunno, fake... Or then it's just not my cup of tea
