this is good news, but i did like some things  Kriss did with sceptre especially, on such songs as Hear me pray, and the coronation. Can't wait for the new stuff.

I've got mixed feelings about this.  Kriss, I think, is a great vocalist and I will miss him.  That being said Mathias is one of the best vocalists that I've ever heard and his clean, powerful singing style is exactly what I like.  *shrug*

I guess it comes to this:  It's awesome that Mathias is back, but I'll miss Kriss.

Yeah i agree Kris is a really good singer, but Mathias is such a hard act to follow.  Maybe if Kris sung for Falconer first, then it might have attracted a different set of fans for his different style of vocals.

On the same note I think kris is AMAZING. Scepter of Deception is great and I think hear me pray has some of the best vocals ive ever heard. At the same time I think Mathias's voice fits the folk part of the vocals more while kris tends to hit the true metal parts a little better. Kris we'll definately miss ya.

Man this news had made my whole year.
Falconer is not Falconer to me without Mathias Blad. The first album is still one of the best album's i've heard in my life and to be honest it's been downhill from there in my reckoning. At least now with the singer that defines the band, Falconer will reach the level that it richly deserves.
Nothing against Kristoffer, but Falconer isn't what it's supposed to be without Mathias; Heavy, distinctive and above all else, superb.

Hello Everybody! I'm not old fan of Falconer. In the last two months I came to know their first 3 albums. My first "love" was the song  "Per tyrssons döttrar i vänge" with an exceptionally beautiful voice, one of the best i ever heard. I love the first two album and the third is a great work with good music as well, but I missed the old voice. Unfortunatelly i'm one of the "open-minded" people, perhaps because firstly it was'nt the third album I heard... I find Krisstofer talentive as well but in my opinion he is not the soul of the Falconer.

I just heard the news, it’s an amazing news!!! I did not followed or support Falconer after their latest album until today, so it’s been a while…. First, Kriss will not be missed. Sure he was a great singer, but he was not the singer made for this band. I don’t know what that last album was, but one thing is for sure, it wasn’t Falconer!
I’m so glad to see you back Mathias! This band wasn’t the same after you left…
