Ah, actually not.
Most webservers are running on a UN*X-clone and therefore they are case-sensitive which means .jpg and and .JPG are not the same.

You people using Microsoft Windows are being misled a bit about stuff like that...

Quick guide to opening picture links Forsaken posts from time to time:

1. click the link provided
 - a new window (or tab) opens and you are shown a green icon
2. edit the address line:
 - hit "End" to get to the end of the address being shown, delete "jpg" there and replace it with "JPG" and hit return to load the 'new' address.
3. Voila!
