Nah, it was only about $11.  That's pretty cheap, even for domestic mead (which I also bought.  technically the domestic brew was melomel)  The domestic mead I bought was around $10.  Together they cost about as much as a bottle of Absolut vodka, so I think I got off pretty well on meads there.

There is a winery in California that makes it as well, I LOVE it, and I get to have the whole bottle as my fair metalmaiden thinks it tastes like medicine!!! 8)

Oh ok, that are around 8-9 Euro... it IS quite cheap, because here in Germany you have to pay this sum at least for  a bottle of mead  - and it isn't the best then.
