Who can translate this for me?  I tried one of the online ones, but it only got half of it.

Runt kring vÂr stuga smÂj”vlar sluga,
tassa s tyst med bockfet och svans.
Varulvar yla isande kyla,
sveper i dimma fantygets dans.
B”va och broder lyssna och h–r,
vrÂlen frÂn gast som osalig d–r.
D–den han skrattar flaskan han fatter,
sv”nger med den tills dagen gryr.

Gastar och spoken skymtas i kr–ken,
dodingar sl”par ruttnande lik.
Benrangel skramla sp–kh”nder famla,
kv”ver din strupes rosslande skrik.
Helvetets alla fasor slÂpps loss,
fan rider runt med hela sin tross.
D–den han skrattar flaskan han fattar
sv”nger med den tills dagen gryr.

I'll mail a cookie to the first person to translate it  :D

Im not too sure about some of the swedish parts, so I won't try out a translation just yet. But here is the song with the right scandinavian letters:

Runt kring vår stuga småjävlar sluga,
tassa så tyst med bockfet och svans.
Varulvar yla isande kyla,
sveper i dimma fantygets dans.
Bäva och broder lyssna och hör,
vrålen från gast som osalig dör.
Döden han skrattar flaskan han fatter,
svänger med den tills dagen gryr.
Gastar och spoken skymtas i kröken,
dodingar släpar ruttnande lik.
Benrangel skramla spökhänder famla,
kväver din strupes rosslande skrik.
Helvetets alla fasor slåpps loss,
fan rider runt med hela sin tross.
Döden han skrattar flaskan han fattar
svänger med den tills dagen gryr.

I'm sure Mathias could translate that in no time. Wish he would pay us a visit here sometimes like Kriss used to...

Sorry, I can't help either, don't know any Swedish yet. But if you need it in Egyptian or German, I'm your man!

edit: Now that just makes no sense at all...

I don't know if you're still interested but I have translated it as good as I can (but it doesn't rhyme in english of course)

Around our cottage shrewd imps,
sneak so silently with goat-foot and tail.
Werewolves howl; icy coldness
sweeps in mist the dance of the evil's work.*
Tremble, oh brother, listen and hear
the bawls of a ghoul who dies unblessed.
Death, he laughs, the bottle he grasps,
waves with it until the day dawns.
Ghouls and ghosts are glimpsed in the curve,
dead ones drag rotting corpses.
Skeletons rattle, ghost-hands fumble
and quench the wheezing scream of your throat.
All the terrors of Hell are set free,
the Devil rides around with all his host.**
Death, he laughs, the bottle he grasps,
waves with it until the day dawns.

Runt kring vår stuga småjävlar sluga,
tassa så tyst med bockfot och svans.
Varulvar yla; isande kyla,
sveper i dimma fantygets* dans.
Bäva, o broder lyssna och hör,
vrålen från gast som osalig dör.
Döden han skrattar flaskan han fattar,
svänger med den tills dagen gryr.
Gastar och spöken skymtas i kröken,
dödingar släpar ruttnande lik.
Benrangel skramla, spökhänder famla,
kväver din strupes rosslande skrik.
Helvetets alla fasor släpps loss,
Fan rider runt med hela sin tross.**
Döden han skrattar flaskan han fattar,
svänger med den tills dagen gryr.

* (fantyg is very hard to translate, but the works of the Devil is the general meaning)
**(this should be "baggage" in the military meaning, but that has the wrong sound in this song)

I just love our old nordic songs... None after have the same bite to them... Do you know "Ramund hin unge"? It must be at least as brutal and macabre... Loving it!

The Viking/Progressive Metal band Týr have made a version of Ramund hin Unge which is great. I'm listening to it right now.

And sung in dansk tunge, the true language of vikings!

Yep! Týr are cool, even though the songs are too similar sometimes.

Ramund and the few faroe tracks are mighty cool, I think, but for example their version of that irish song really is bad! And their English tracks really aren't anything special in my opinion, Erik den Røde is still a good album, if you are a northerner, if not, I don't think you'd be able to appreciate it that much, even though their songs are translated into English (which I by the way think is totally lame).

Yes, you have a point there, but I think the two english tracks "The Edge" and "Dreams" are really good.
