Worst five songs?

When we're all so excited I think we must cool down not to die of destroyed patience. So I thought we would select the five worst Falconer songs. I hope no-one gets angry (as some people get when someone thinks sanything is bad with their favourite bands), this is meant mostly as a joke and a test of tastes...

My choice: (the worst song first)

1. The Return
2. Power
3. Busted to the Floor
4. The Assailant
5. I Refuse

There are no "worst" falconer songs.  They're all badass.

However, there are some songs I don't  listen to as much (in no particular order):
I Refuse
Power
Purgatory Time
No Tears for Strangers
The Assailant

Wow, this is a topic I've thought about to, this is gonna be damn interesting to follow!!
Here's my bottom 5:

1. Hooves over northland
2. Power
3. The coronation
4. Busted to the floor
5. The gate

I will leave out all tracks on "Sceptre of Deception" since I only have heard the album two times and really do not have any idea about it. All though, those two times made me confident that I didn't want to buy it, so I gues I do not like it that much.

My bottom five is:

1. The Assailant
2. Power/The Return
3. Purgatory Time
4. Jack the Knife
5. Upon the Grave of Guilt

*looks up* Well, a lot of GvsG tracks, but the only track on that album that reaches up at the top of Falconer songs is Humanity Overdose, the others are great, but not among the best you guys ever did.

Humanity Overdoes was one of the better tracks on that album.  But Child of the Wild is way better than HO.

Here's my opinion:

3. The Sceptre of Deception

You can't be serious.  Clarion Call is probably the best Falconer song EVER.

It really is a very good song. One of Falconer's classics. But I've always thought there are much better tracks on those two first albums. And Clarion Call is not near some (err, most) of the songs on the new album.

Hm, obviously the last album contains most of the songs we fans consider as "worse than the others" (I wouldn't say "bad").

Well, GvG was a different album indeed!

Well, i don't know about a "bottom 5" but there are a few that I dislike for various reasons. I don't think much of I Refuse and, I must apologise for saying so, but I really think Power is terrible. :( The Assailant I like, but I think the lyrics are a bit too silly..."Annihilation grabs onto your bone."

Busted to the Floor is by no means a bad song, but I think its a little out of place at the end of "Chapters..." I think it would have served better as a bonustrack with En Kungens Man closing off the album.

And seriously, how can anyone dislike Upon the Grave of Guilt and The Clarion Call? :shock: Crazy talk!

Opinions always differ a lot. My favourite song is for example the one Stefan thinks is their worst. And Clarion Call is only maybe in place 11-12 among the Falconer songs for me.

Isn't it great that Falconer can be appreciated for so many various qualities? (*sucking up*)  :wink:

Its a song I can listen to once every six monthes and not mind,  The rest of the time its rather........annoying, atleast in my perspective.
