Translations of the bonus tracks

I thought that all of you who don't know swedish would be interested in knowing the meaning of the bonus tracks' lyrics.

Kristallen den Fina

The Crystal So Fine

The crystal so fine as the sun may shine,
as the stars twinkle in the sky.
I know a girl in chastity so fine,
a girl in this village.
My friend, my friend and flower of love-making!
Alas, if we could come together
and I would be the friend of yours
and you the most loved one of mine!
You noble rose and embellishing case.

And even if I went to the end of the world,
my heart cries to you.
And even if I went to the end of the world,
my heart cries to you.
To you, my friend and flower of love-making!
Alas, if we could come together
and I would be the friend of yours
and you the most loved one of mine!
You noble rose and embellishing case.

Ridom Ridom

(Arnafell and Kidagil are place names)

Ride, Ride

Ride, ride, ride over the sand,
the sun sinks behind Arnafell.
The darkness spreads shadows over the sand,
ghosts come forth when evening comes.
The Lord leads the steed of mine,
yet it is far to farmhouse and gate.

The fox howls, howls behind the hill,
the sheep flee in fear of his claw.
But who calls, calls from within the earth?
The Mountain King arises from his lair.
Outlawed, he walks in secrecy,
hunts lost sheep like the fox.

The fairie queen dances over the sand.
Ride, yes ride, if you value your life.
Flee the fair fairie queen-hand,
the soul of the riders to prisoner she demands.
The best horse I want to sacrifice,
if I manage to reach Kidagil.

Liten Vätte

(This one is full of weird words in dialectal tongue, so if everything isn't correct, blame that)

Little Goblin

Little goblin wanted silver-glitter,
stands in the field of yours and watches.
Little goblin, do you see long flax,
which shines in the eye of yours?
Do you see long flax,
long as reins
and tenacious like a hair of Satan?     ("a hair of Satan" is an old Swedish expression)
The girl of yours has blue dreams
and her hair is light as flax.

Little goblin wanted silver-glitter,
stands in the field of yours and watches.
Do you see long flax,
long as reins
and strong as a can of cement?
The girl of yours has blue eyes,
a scarf of silk and curly hair.
Spin, thump, hit and weave,
are you allowed to get married this year?

Wasp, bee and wasp or nail,
old Satan you resemble.
Wasp, bee and wasp bumblebee,
your nose is like a nail.
Stab in stone and stab in down,
stab in earth but not in flesh.
Do you stab the girl's neck
she falls down in death.

(No, I'm not drunk, The lyrics are really this insane.)  :)

Vårvindar Friska

Fresh Winds of the Spring

Fresh Winds of the Spring play and whisper,
around the groves like loving couples.
The streams haste, find no rest
ere down into the deep the torrent goes.
Lament my heart, lament and hear.
The sound of the sheperd's horn dies among the cliffs.
The stream man plays,   (This is another name for Näcken, whom I've mentioned before)
shares the sorrows,
the watch around mountain and valley.

The heart wants to burst, alas, when I heard for the last
time the voice of love.
The pain of separation, the flame of the eyes.
Mouth to mouth by beating chests.
The vale of the fjeld stands in verdant garb,
the thrush warbled time after time for his bride.
The stream man played,
shared the sorrows,
sighing mountain and valley.

Lament my heart, lament and hear.
The sound of the sheperd's horn dies among the cliffs.
The stream man plays,
shares the sorrows,
the watch around mountain and valley.

I'm pretty staisfied with these translations. I hope you think that translating them was worth the time.
