hrm well here football is a different sport then where you are from Jim.. but my fav teams are the seattle Sea Hawks (because I am origionally from washington state) and the Green Bay Packers \m/

Well, soccer... There's some kind of localism and nostalgic interest in my birthtown's soccer team: 1. FC Nuernberg. They used to be one of the best teams in soccer in the 60s, but for more than 15 years, there's only a constant up and down between 1st, 2nd and sometimes even 3rd league.

But in fact watching soccer is not really my prefered waste of time either...

You're right, I didn't know that. The team is always mentioned as "Borussia Moenchengladbach", therefore I didn't connect "VfL" to M'gladbach...
Though I'm quite sure I'll have that forgotten soon again
