No Wacken 2007 for yours truly...

Dear fellow Falconites and friends

Sorry, for opening a new topic for this, but I could't really find another appropriate place for posting this. Plus, I didn't want to disrupt all the meeting arrangement talk in the other topic.

So, as Virvatuli has already posted (thank you so much, dear L!), I won't be able to come to Wacken this year.
I'm in India right now, and will return to Vienna on Sunday, 5th of August. I had to come here abruptly last Wednesday.
My mum had been struggling against her cancer disease for the last five years. Last week she lost her battle.
The funeral ceremony took place last Friday. It was a very sad and painful moment for me. There's nothing that can possibly prepare one to face things like this.

Fortunately, my dad and I get a lot of support from family and friends here.
I'll somehow hang in there.

So, it looks like it's written somewhere that Prab is not allowed to see Falconer live just yet. Well, there's nothing I can change about that.
My only request to you folks is - party, headbang and rock your socks off for me too

Friends, thank you for your words and thoughts. I really appreciate them.
I'm back to Vienna and back to work. Every-day-life has to go on and it will somehow.
Still I'm fortunate to have a lot of people around me who care for and support me.
This forum with it's outstanding community - that is you my dear friends - prooves that too! I have never found a virtual place or community like this. Thank you again folks and falconites.
I even ask myself if I deserve this luck. However I'm thankful for it.

So, here I am back again, reading very eagerly and heedfully your reports of Wacken 07 and the Falconer gig (even if it pains me to not have been able to be there - again!)
