Still alive and kicking!

Yet another rare updates for all who wonder if we´ve split up, taken a year off or just forgot the website:
Between jobs, diapers, tv-shows, friday beers and good ol´ apathy we rehearse a song or two. Slowly the new stuff is taking shape but we have no stress, half the new album is written. Recording time for the forthcoming album is October.

Previously I said that it will have a slightly new direction, or rather new approach.
Hint no2: The Germans will probably like it more than the Americans.

I SMELL POWER METAL EPIC!

I dunno...Manowar worship? Honestly, Manowar have only released shit in the last decade but for some strange, unexplainable reason the german Manowar fanbase keeps buying this stuff and coming to their overpriced, boring shows.

I've not been into Falconer for long; picked up the Northwind album at a festival in the UK in 2006, listened to it once and didnt really like it. Fast forwards 4 years and whilst cleaning out some stuff I come accross the album again and decided, becuase I couldnt remember it well, to give it another spin. It's now been in the cd-player of my car for the last 2 months and I've listened to it every single day and absolutely love it! Got Beggars and Thieves album and think it's even better, and Falconer are now one of my favourite bands ever; the combination of incredible guitar work and those vocals is just incredible and I've no idea why I didnt like it before but I'm glad I gave it another chance! I've a feeling the new stuff will be less heavy and more...accoustic? Am I close? :)
