Nah, I was just wasting some time before going to a Superbowl (US football finals) party at a friends house, practicing some guitar, and reading e mail......

Even we know what the Superbowl is ;)
A few years ago it was broadcasted on free TV, but for a few years already, it's only available on PayTV.

Did the game end as you had hoped for?  (New England Patriots won by 24:21 versus the Philadelphia Eagles if my newsticker did not fool me?)

I had figured you guys did, but just in case. Pay Tv for the superbowl, i guess i never thought of that, we can get soccer finals and hockey finals from the world on PPV as well.

No I was routing for Philadelphia, Metalmaiden likes Donovan McNabb, their QB, and I hate the Patriots, as they beat My St Louis Rams in the Superbowl in 2001.

Servers? Odin? Who's calling?! ;)

Funny coincidence, hehe.

np: Mechanical Poet - Sirens From The Underland

Nice one so far. From silent, atmospheric to double bass driven riffs. Mostly calm and peaceful, though.

Actually not. I'm not really a fan of them. I only used to have some MP3s of them so far but then recently decided to have an album. They're nice to listen to if one's pissed or something, but - to me at least - that's it. Their lyrics are nice but their music is black metal of the not so exciting kind.
If you really want to check them out, you should definitely check out the more recent albums - like World Funeral (2002) from which the above song is taken - and not the earlier ones.

They're the Black Metal version of Cannibal Corpse. Speed, brutality and no prisoners taken.

I very much liked their latest album.

Oh man ! what a superb song !

I remembered when I got the album Point of Entry in the early 80's that I was kind of disappointed... I had 'Unleashed' on cassette and expected a similar heavy album.
But Point of entry is probalby the softest Priest album of all time...
But, but, I really learned to appreciate it as time wore on. My vision on 'Point of Entry' totally changed. Brilliant compostions and Rob is in top condition on this one !

NP Point of Entry, Gonna play the whole f***ing album !! Yihaaaa !!
