Well, because of the little talk I started rereading the topic and stumbled over this stuff.

I sure hope there's a different explanation for this than racism, massive intolerance (including religious intolerance) and propaganda? Ryan? We're all waiting for one. We're all demanding one.

you know something.. i am going to be point blank and honest here. first off if you ever again try insinuate that i am a rasist person you can take this board and your comments and tell em to some one else who wants to hear them Basti.. my best friend i grew up with and am the god father of his children and is the god father of my children is black.. my neigbors who spent christmas over at my house last year are from pakistan and i have been in more interatial relationships then i have with my own race.. SO!! dont ever again acuse me of such a thing..

and I am sure that you listen to songs that have lyrics that describe to people racial indesentcie upon other things.. so how can you listen to something and not realize it, but turn on someone else and try to make them fill small for what was posted..

actually no we cant.. you dont understand german laws then i guess and after much long conversation with good ol dad (tex) he explained to me how german laws are and how they (the admins of the board) are responcible for what goes on in these boards..

It may be your approach to rush into things because of a spontaneous push of anger, frustration or whatever and then obviously feeling the need to explain things or to excuse.
But it's not my approach to handle things that way. I spent  several hours yesterday working on an appropriate reply and I still do (though I'm at work and can't do that much about it at the moment). I will post a reply when I believe I have written one which deals appropriately with what you've written and not earlier, no matter what you think or how you feel about it.

I will point it out in the long reply again, but before there's anything wrong coming up, I want to point this out: I did not - neither written or in an unwritten subtext or whatever - accuse you of being a racist. I suspected the lyrics you quoted to be racist and intolerant. It is you who made a critical remark on problematic content a personal thing. That was not me, Ryan, though you're trying hard to make everyone believe something else.

And I do agree with shadow (will get back to that in the long reply also): What does your american origin have to do with anything we're talking about here?

I once drew this cover (not copied but actually drew this !!!!) in my nieces poetry album around 85/86 ! One of the only works of art I ever performed... :wink:
And if I may say so myself : the ressemblance was striking !!
Come to think of it : that particular niece is now married and pregnant with child ... :(
