Shadowman ---I can help you there!

Jack Frost is at the top of my list of all time favorite guitarists.  This band was founded by him and is really a vehicle for his playing and composing. Brian Craig, their drummer, is awesome! (although they just got a new drummer.)  My favorite vocalist of theirs was Wade Black (Crimson Glory) but all three have been good. Needless to say I'm a huge fan of this band. It hails from the US by the way.

just checked out the link and I read this :

There style is are classic American traditional power metal, very 80's-inspired but yet not sounding tired or dated. No one band stands out as an obvious soundalike, but shades of bands such as Helstar, Manowar, and Metal Church are heard here. There are several covers here, ranging from the somewhat predictable (Manowar's "Metal Daze", faithful to the original but rather ordinary) to the interesting (Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain"). Really fine stuff, and heavier than the Helloween/Gamma Ray clones populating Europe at the moment. Despite Frost's busy work schedule, Seven Witches looks set to continue as an active band. Recommended to fans of classic heavy metal.

Now that is precisely the thing I want to hear about a metal band !!
