Personally I think musically, GvG touches closer to earlier falconer albums. Scepter seemed to me like the music was a little less melodic. I wasn't sure I liked it that much at first, but I listen to it a lot now, and it's grown on me.

When I first heard GvG though, I was instantly hooked

Just ordered GvG, so its a bit stupid for me to post here!

I would say that Sceptre was my least favourite album so far though.

O yes and i love this part of Child of the Wild so much........... i realy realy love vocals at this part:

Embrace the untamed
see the grandeur under the grime.
Feel a rising peace
by a wind from deep seas.

Stefan is working in a cemetery.  The key word is WORKING.  If they were playing for the money, I don't think anyone in the band would be doing any work outside of writing music/lyrics, recording and performing.  Oh, and living in the lap of luxury, with a pool boy and martini girls at their beck and call.  Something tells me they don't have that... :P

That would have been a perfect "Mathias-part" of that song, right? :D

Indeed, and that is exactly the reason why Kristoffer is the best fit for the band; he delivers those lines almost as good as Blad would have.

I really didn't recognize Kristoff in that part. I was like "WOW, is that Kriss?! Awesome!" :D

I love it when he sings classically.  I wish he'd do it more often. :)

Also, I was having my friend Kathleen listen to the new Falconer Album (She really liked it, by the way) and on the parts where Kristoffer sang using Classic vocals, she said she had a "purr" moment.

A conclusion from the meaning of "to purr":
Think of the sound a cat makes when it's being fondled and likes that very much. I suppose a "purr moment" is something like that, isn't  it?

Okay, so when AngelOfMusic's friend Kathleen listens to Kristoffer sing classically, she feels like she's "being fondled and likes that very much."  :?:   :D

*falls over laughing*  I think it's more of a "SEXY!  Want to pounce singer...." kind of "purr moment"  Though Kristoffer's clean vocals ARE rather orgasmic, if I do say so myself.
