I have to admit, I never really looked into this thread. Now I finally get, what it is about :-[ ;D
So, what's up here in Vienna?
Finally the soccer/football european championship is OVER!
The city was stuffed with soccer hungry people. Okay "stuffed" is maybe a bit exaggerated, because there were actually incredibly less people in Vienna during Euro08 than they estimated.
Still, it was a sight to behold, to see hundreds of partying folks (lately the spanish) in the subway stations - at 6:30AM. That got annoying pretty quickly, cause I'm sometimes a bit grumpy in the morning on my way to work
What else is going on around me these days, let's see... erm... oh yeah, it' summertime and I'm wrestling with some pollen allergy. Yeah, very interesting, I know :P
Some music related news: We, my band and I, are trying to get our demo done this summer. We're recording on our own, everything selfmade and that will cost us huge amounts of time. None of us is a professional sound engineer, it's all learning by doing. We've already found out a lot through trial and error (we've been working on this since fall 2007) and now we want to finish it and see how it turns out. The songs will definitely end up on myspace and our
homepage. But if we're really manage to make it sound totally awesome, then we even consider releasing those songs on CD. Let's see how everything turns out.
Right now I'm sitting at work, it's Saturday and it's 7:22AM.... I know, it's lame, and most of you are probably still sleeping or hung over from Friday night :P
Okay, enough of the rambling in the morning. I'm still tired but looking forward to the (booze filled) party in the afternoon/evening/night
